Do you know what is the first statement of those who arrive at the Borgo? What a wonderful place! Do they exaggerate? You will see it will be you who will confirm it!
Someone called it a “terrace on the Casentino” is placed at an ideal altitude, seven hundred meters. Its panorama is of rare beauty and fades into the valley, where the castles of Poppi and Romena can be seen. It is located on the edge of the Casentino Forests National Park, a 2017 World Heritage Site. The Borgo is eighteenth-century and completely renovated, with the presence of a twelfth-century watchtower, where we made an apartment. Being a guest of the Borgo means spending a vacation in contact with nature, its scents, its sounds, and it often happens to spot from its windows the passage of deer and roe deer! From the hamlet, it is possible to go on hikes in the National Park, with trails marked with walking times and mileage. It is possible to reach Mount Falterona where the Arno River has its source and to the summit of Mount Falco where a breathtaking landscape can be admired. For moments of absolute relaxation is available exclusively for guests, a panoramic swimming pool!!! In the evening at the sound of the bell, simple and genuine cuisine, in a continuous search for the ancient flavors. At the Borgo you won’t find sophisticated dishes, our nutritional philosophy is simple, healthy, with garden produce, homemade pasta, and then there is the shepherd, the farmer, the baker, all people we know who work with passion and seriousness.
The little tribe
Today, together with our beloved little pet tribe Bianca, Romano, Teodoro, Serafina and Manzina!!!, we run this 18th-century Borgo in upper Casentino, Tuscany.

Thus the Tramonte location became the Borgo Tramonte farmhouse where our passion finally coincides with our everyday life. Here you will experience a cuisine of yesteryear, where the feeling of conviviality accompanies the flavors of our dishes.
